This Cincinnati, Ohio home had an aging roof. Some of the shingles were becoming uneven over time and the homeowners were concerned about the possibility of leaks damaging their property. Our team was ready to provide them a solution that would provide long-term resolution.
Solution
Our professionals recommended that these homeowners replace their roof with a brand new IKO Dynasty roof system. This roof is durable, offers excellent protection to the base of the roof and home, and comes with a 50-year warranty.
To begin this installation, our team first stripped the roof down to the wood base. They then removed and replaced any compromised or rotten wood.
After the wood base of the roof was ready, our team began installing a RoofGuard underlayment and an IKO GoldShield ice and water guard. The RoofGuard is designed to whisk off any water that infiltrates beneath the shingles before it can damage the wood of the roof. The IKO GoldShield is installed over the most vulnerable areas of the roof and provides protection where it is most needed. Together these systems prevent water infiltration under the shingles and protect the wood from water damage.
Lastly, our team installed a set of brand new IKO Dynasty shingles in "granite black." These asphalt shingles are highly durable and designed to be weather-resistant - even in the event of severe weather and storms.
Once the installation was complete, these homeowners were left with a new and durable roof that will last for decades.
