Before & After

Home Emergency Roofing Replacement After a Heavy Storm in Florence, Kentucky

We went to this home in March because the home owners knew their roof wasn't in the best shape. They called us back in April because a heavy storm actually ripped a hole in the roof, and the hole was allowing massive amounts of rain to fall into their home. We knew we had to move quick, and so we did. We first placed down some tarp over the hole until it stopped raining so we could start to work on their new roof. Once it stopped raining, we started by stripping the roofing all the way to the decking. The insulation was in good shape besides where the hole was, so it wasn't necessary to replace it completely. We then replaced the plywood sheathing on the roof and sealed it with Sealoron XT deck tape. We then placed down our Sealoron XT premium ice/water shield and KRS Velora One synthetic underlayments. We then put IKO Dynasty shingles on top of the underlayment in a summit grey color. We added some smaller details including perma-boot pipe flashing, ACM aluminum edges, and IKO ridge vents and shingles.
