IKO Cambridge System Installed on Leaking West Chester, Ohio Roof

Challenge

This roof in West Chester, Ohio was having issues with an aged and leaking roof. This was caused by age, damage, and compromised flashing around the chimney. Our team was ready to recommend the correct system to them to resolve these issues and secure the home.

Solution

We recommended that these homeowners completely replace their roof with a new IKO Cambridge system. This system comes with a 25-year warranty and it carefully and professionally installed by our technicians. The homeowners agreed with our recommendation and elected to have their new roof installed in the "dual brown" color.

When our team first began the project, they stripped the roof down to its wood base. They then removed a few patches of rotting wood and replaced them before installing any liners and underlayment.

Next, our team installed a Stormtite synthetic underlayment and a StormShield ice and water protector. These products are adhered to the wood base of the roof and protect it against water damage that can lead to wood rot.

Next, our team installed new flashing around the chimney. This should resolve any issues with leaking around the base of the chimney.

Lastly, we installed all new shingles. After the process was complete the owners were left with a new roof and a secured chimney that will not leak.
